Scottie Key

Hello! My name is Scottie Key and I recently celebrated the first anniversary of my 29th birthday. In my professional and personal life, I wear many hats figuratively but not literally, because I am not a hat person. Professionally, I am currently a hairstylist pursuing a degree in fashion merchandising with a minor in journalism and I am also an editorial assistant at Southern Bride Magazine. I’ve lived and worked as a hairstylist, fashion stylist, and a journalist in Memphis, TN, New York, NY, and Florence, Italy.

In my personal life I am “mom” to two giant Great Danes and girlfriend to a very cheeky British Chef.

Jamin Lin

National Taiwan University

I am a standup comedian who tries my personal best to be funny.Apart from humor , I also have a penchant for fashion because I am gay. Also a foodie, who puts more emphasis on dig in the dish asap rather than taking the perfect foodporn pictures.

Katherine Sloan

Katherine Sloan is a redheaded writer, an identical twin, and a lover of beauty. She lives in New York City. She was born in 1988 and received her Master’s Degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Longwood University in 2012.

Jamie Banks
University of Denver

Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN I left the cold for Denver, CO where I thought it was warm. Over the past 20 years I have worked in public relations and government affairs positions for both for-and-non profit companies in eight states – the last of which brought me to Charlotte, NC where I currently reside.

Always a lover of style and design, I evolved my career and started Banks Statement, a Wardrobe Styling and Image Consulting business. I find the most pleasure in helping people see and reach their potential through clothes. Communication is much more powerful when your visual image is aligned with your intention and your words.

I am married to a wonderful man and a mother to two dogs who run our lives. Grateful each day for the opportunity to experience life and make a difference.
